4 Centuries of Gardens

Recently a NJ Historic Trust Grant, matched by Piscataway Township has partially landscaped the museum's grounds providing a stairway and path that brings guests to an exhibit interpreting the vernacular architecture of the historic site. Plans to provide gardens - indigenous trees and shrubs indicative of Native American landscapes, a colonial herb garden, a typical Victorian shrub and flower garden and a WWII Victory Garden remainl in the planning stages.
