​Why the Museum Matters

The Metlar-Bodine House is:

• One of only two surviving structures from historic Raritan Landing
• Listed on the State and National Registers of Historic Places
• A rare example of New Jersey vernacular architecture
• Home to more than 1,000 artifacts representing over 400 years of local history
• A centerpiece of Piscataway's cultural heritage

The Fellowship for Metlar House is a not-for-profit foundation that assists The Township of Piscataway in caring for the museum. Membership is open to all. Meetings are held on the third Thursday of the month unless otherwise notified. Corporate, foundation and private financial support is always welcome. In-kind help is also appreciated.
